Itinerary
Alexander Stewart Eco-Tall Ship Itinerary:
Airlie Beach → Airlie Beach | Departs Sunday – Tuesday – Friday
DAY 1
Depart the Coral Sea Marina South Village after meeting your awesome crew and fellow sailors. As we set off there is a chance to get involved, help sail a tall ship or sit back and relax as we sail to our first destination
After a delicious morning tea, we bush walk to the famous Hill Inlet Lookout, on Whitsunday Island.
Take in the views and snap those world famous selfies then head down onto Whitehaven Beach itself. Experience its white silica sands and azure blue waters of Hill Inlet and the chance to wade in shallow pools observing beautiful sting rays and juvenile lemon sharks.
After an unforgettable morning return to your tall-ship for a hearty lunch before setting sail for the afternoon to your secluded evening anchorage.
Enjoy sunset snacks, socialise or find your own quiet space to wind down before we dine alfresco together under the sky of a billion stars.
Chill out, relax and stargaze the night away before retiring to your private or twin cabins.
DAY 2
Wake up at our first reef location for snorkelling on the fringing corals of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. We will have a tropical breakfast, then explore soft and hard corals and spot the myriad of fish and turtles that call our reefs home.
Return to the ship for morning tea & snacks as we head to our second snorkel destination and explore a new snorkel site specially chosen for its vast array of fish and corals.
Enjoy a yummy smorgasbord of lunch and the perfect tropical fruit platter under the Whitsunday sun.
Time for more sailing. We pull up the sails for our journey through the islands and back to Coral Sea Marina with memories to last a life time and new friends.
Note:
There are no set itineraries as the trips vary according to the weather, allowing for a customised and personalised experience.
