Northern Argentine Yungas forest
Your Eco-Rewards are helping World Land Trust fund land purchase expanding the El Pantanoso Reserve in the Jujuy province of Argentina.
El Pantanoso is strategically important because it forms a corridor between Calilegua National Park on its southern border and Estancia Urundel, a large tract of contiguous sustainably managed forest.
El Pantanoso forms part of the largest area of contiguous habitat for Jaguar in Argentina.
It is also an important ecological corridor for Puma, Ocelot and other threatened species including Lowland Tapir, Black Solitary Eagle and two species of peccary.
