Accommodation for the night is at Eurong and Fraser  Explorers Beach Resort. This is excellent accommodation with access to your own exclusive resort swimming pool. Generous helpings are on the menu with a buffet breakfast and evening meal served in the resort restaurant.

Fraser Explorer Tours itinerary / What You Will See:

Departs Hervey Bay and Rainbow Beach | Departs Daily

DAY 1

Fraser Explorer Tours will pick you up from your Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach accommodation and take a ferry across to the World Heritage sand island that is Fraser Island.

Today you will get to have a swim in famous Lake McKenzie, visit the historical heart of the island – Central Station and the rainforest boardwalk.

Ancient King Ferns are on show at Wanggoolba Creek, visit Pile Valley’s famous Satinay trees and trek to Basin Lake which is perched high in the dunes.

DAY 2

Today we discover the ocean highway of 75-Mile Beach and it’s famous icon of the SS Maheno Shipwreck, swim in crystal-clear Eli Creek with ocean views.

At the Pinnacles Coloured Sands you learn about local mythology, before climbing Indian Head for Fraser Island’s most spectacular views. There is a chance here to spot sharks, turtles and even manta-rays. During whale season you will see whales too!

A huge highlight is the natural rock pool jacuzzis at Champagne Pools. Huge waves can crash over making for some awesome photos and a dip in the pacific waters.

There is also time for an optional scenic flight with Air Fraser, one of only two places in the world that take off right from the beach.

Take the 5.30pm ferry back to Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach before being dropped at your accommodation.
