Cruise itinerary:

(This is an example itinerary of a typical day)

• 7.00am: Check-in at Bundaberg Port Marina.
• 7.45am: Depart the marina and en-route to the island, meet your friendly, experienced crew, learn more about the reef from a marine biologist and boost your energy levels with a spread fresh fruit, tea and coffee.
• 9.45am: Anchor in Lady Musgrave’s beautiful lagoon. Your day in paradise has begun. Hop aboard the glass-bottomed boat to see the bustling world below water, slip on snorkel gear to get a closer look or suit up in diving gear to delve deeper. As you explore the tropical waters, you’ll observe schools of colourful fish, dancing corals, molluscs and maybe even reef sharks, turtles and manta rays.
  No visit to Lady Musgrave is complete without setting foot on the island itself. Join your enthusiastic nature guide for an island tour, during which you’ll spot busy seabirds and learn more about the reef’s delicate eco-system.
  Lunch is a delicious locally sourced tropical buffet that includes salad dishes, seafood, cold meats, fresh fruits and more.
• 3.00pm: Start the journey home and cruise in comfort back to Bundaberg.
• 5:00pm: Arrive into Bundaberg Port Marina.

Bird Watching

Whatever time of year you decide to visit there will always be plenty of birds to see. October – April is the time when the migrant species arrive from Papua New Guinea.

Lady Musgrave Island is a bird watching haven and perfect photo opportunity as the chicks hatch and grow. Located in great viewing proximity in the trees, all over the island. This unique cycle of life we get to share with our guests and especially the children on our informative walks allow you to get up close and personal and experience the island life with the resident birds of this beautiful coral cay.
