If you want to complete your PADI Open Water Diver training in just four days, but also include an overnight experience, this dive course is designed for you.

Your Ocean Quest PADI learn to dive course starts with 2 days at their 5-star PADI training centre followed by a once in a lifetime 2day/1night outer reef liveaboard.

Health and Safety for Divers 

Before commencing your dive course, you are required to complete the self-assessment Entry Level Student Diver Medical Declaration. A positive response to any question indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner, preferably with experience in diving medicine, to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.

Note: Cairns has several medical centres offering Dive Medicals on a walk-in and wait basis.

We recommend that you do not fly within 24 hours of diving. The earliest you should fly is 12 pm (midday) on the day after your trip concludes.

PADI 4 Day Scuba Course Requirements

• Divers 45 years and over must obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.
• It is a dive course requirement that you be able to swim 200 metres or snorkel 300 metres and tread water/float for 10 minutes.

• Please do not bring sleeping bags and pillows on to the liveaboard vessel.
• Extra luggage can be stored at the Divers Den training centre. Please bring a small bag onboard.
