Spend 2 days at a PADI® 5-star training centre followed by 4× open water ocean dives. Your ocean dives will be from luxury vessel Evolution over 2 separate day trips to the ‘Outer Great Barrier  Reef’.

Health and Safety for Divers 

Before commencing your dive course, you are required to complete the self-assessment Entry Level Student Diver Medical Declaration. A positive response to any question indicates there is a pre-existing condition which may affect your safety while diving and you must consult a medical practitioner, preferably with experience in diving medicine, to obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.

Note: Cairns has several medical centres offering Dive Medicals on a walk-in and wait basis.

We recommend that you do not fly within 24 hours of diving. The last dive on day 4 is completed by 2:30 – 3:00pm.

PADI 4 Day Scuba Course Requirements

• Divers 45 years and over must obtain a dive medical certificate that states you are medically fit to dive.
• It is a dive course requirement that you be able to swim 200 metres or snorkel 300 metres and tread water/float for 10 minutes.
