Skydive in tropical paradise, with a tandem skydive over Cairns, guaranteed to be an unforgettable lifetime experience! The Skydive Cairns drop zone offers a warm tropical climate, spectacular views of the Coral Sea, the World Heritage Rainforest and snaking Trinity Inlet. Get addicted!
Your jump will include the following highlights;

Departs/Returns:
- Pick-ups & Check-ins from 6:00 am
- There are multiple jump times but sunrise is the best!
All jumps are weather dependant.

Itinerary
Jump Plan:
The Night Before
Get a good night’s sleep before your big jump, the epic adrenalin rush can be exhausting! You must not have consumed any drugs or alcohol in the eight hours preceding your skydive, and you cannot scuba dive 24 hours before skydiving.
Pick-ups / Check-in
If you’re staying in Cairns, pick-ups are offered from selected locations around the town.
The Jump
After checking-in it is time to transfer out to Cairns airport. Soar to 15’000 feet above the tropics and then, JUMP!
Enjoy a 60 second freefall before the serenity and silence of your 5-7 minute float under canopy back down to earth.
Important Info
Please Read:
- You must be 12 years of age or older to skydive
- There is no maximum age limit, however reasonable fitness is required
- You must not have consumed any drugs or alcohol in the eight hours preceding your skydive
- You cannot scuba dive 24 hours before skydiving
- If you are over 110kg, you will be subject to tandem master assessment
- Surcharges apply to participants 95kg and over
- Skydiving is a weather dependent activity, so arrive with no time constraints. Keep your mobile on – we’ll call you on the day if conditions are unfavourable.

Australian Parachute Federation (APF):
All jumpers are required to pay the APF skydiving levy that includes 3 month membership.

Cancellations / Rescheduling / Refund Policy:
- Booking payments are non-refundable but are transferrable.
- To change your booking to a different date and time, Skydive Australia requires 48 hours notice or your booking payment(s) will be void.
- Rebooking your skydive without 48 hours notice will incur a $110 rebooking fee.
- Failure to turn up at the ‘check-in’ time will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
- Failure to go through with your skydive will forfeit your jump, no refunds will be given.
- All bookings are final, no refunds are given for change of mind or change of experience to a lesser value.
