The views of 14km of pristine white beaches, lush rainforest, the Great Barrier Reef and tropical islands will take your breath away and will be seared into your memory for eternity but so will throwing yourself out of a plane!

This adventure tourism attraction offers tandem skydiving from Australia’s highest altitude of up to 15,000ft. Experience the ultimate thrill of freefall at over 200km/hr for up to an insane 60 seconds, and then float under canopy for 5-7 minutes soaking up the spectacular views from above.

Skydive Mission Beach — Free-falling over the turquoise waters of the Great Barrier Reef

What you need:

Shoes: Trainers/Runners are fine
Comfortable clothing (jump suit available if required)
Raincoat in our wet season
Water bottle (please consider re-usable/sustainable option)
Sunscreen (please consider reef safe/environmentally friendly options)
Insect repellent (only apply if needed)
Extra cash for meals and drinks at the restaurant
Food: There is a camp kitchen at the beach house to prepare meals

Free pick up services from most Cairns and Mission Beach accommodation begin as the tropical sun rises.

Cairns pick-ups are between 6:30-7:00am while Mission Beach pick-ups start at 5:30am.

Our friendly reservations crew will advise you of pick up times and points when booking

Plan for a whole day, there is FREE WiFi (so you can upload all those fab freefall face photos to social media) and stunning scenery to go exploring! The town is full of super friendly, laid back locals and backpackers, give ’em a wave as you cruise the streets.

There is also 14km of pristine beach to be enjoyed and bars and cafes to sit back and relax.

Oh, we nearly forgot to mention jumping out of an aeroplane at 15’000ft!

Important Info

Please Read:

You must be 12 years of age or older to skydive
There is no maximum age limit, however reasonable fitness is required
You must not have consumed any drugs or alcohol in the eight hours preceding your skydive
You cannot scuba dive 24 hours before skydiving
If you are over 110kg, you will be subject to tandem master assessment
Surcharges apply to participants 95kg and over
Skydiving is a weather dependent activity, so arrive with no time constraints. Keep your mobile on – we’ll call you on the day if conditions are unfavourable.

Australian Parachute Federation (APF):

All jumpers are required to pay the APF skydiving levy that includes 3 month membership.

Handicam Video & Photos – $139
5-7 minute video of your skydive, filmed by wrist-mounted GoPro
over 100 photos of your skydive, saved on a custom Skydive USB for easy uploading and sharing with friends and family
Handicam Video – $129
5-7 minute video of your skydive, filmed by wrist-mounted GoPro, saved on a custom Skydive USB so you can easily upload and share your video with friends and family.
Handicam Photos – $109
over 100 photos of your skydive, captured by wrist-mounted GoPro, saved on a custom Skydive USB so they can easily be uploaded and shared with friends and family

Cancellations / Rescheduling / Refund Policy:

Booking payments are non-refundable but are transferrable.
To change your booking to a different date and time, Skydive Australia requires 48 hours notice or your booking payment(s) will be void.
Rebooking your skydive without 48 hours notice will incur a $110 rebooking fee.
Failure to turn up at the ‘check-in’ time will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
Failure to go through with your skydive will forfeit your jump, no refunds will be given.
All bookings are final, no refunds are given for change of mind or change of experience to a lesser value.
