Sunrise Climb »
The name says it all…. welcome the sun to Sydney.

Day Climb »
Day climbs run throughout the day until the sun starts falling.

Twilight Climb »
This is ultimately the sunset climb as the sun will be in a stage of setting before darkness.

Night Climb »
Daylight has disappeared and the bright lights of the city take over.

Info: Times of climbs differ year round at sunrise and sunset differs from summer to winter.

*The Pylon Lookout is one of the four brick columns at the start and finish of the bridge. Enjoy the museum and lookout with a free entry pass.

The Climb

Latching on at the Climb Base below the Bradfield Highway, you will walk below the road-deck until you reach the South-East Pylon.

There you will go up four ladders to the start of the upper arch.

With the Summit in your sight, your journey continues along the Bridge’s upper arch on the Opera House side until you hit the top.

After a Summit celebration with your group, you will cross to the Darling Harbour side to make your descent to Climb Base.

Climb Conditions – Please Read

• All climbers are required to ‘check in’ at BridgeClimb premises 3 Cumberland Street, The Rocks at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Arrival after this time may result in non-admittance to the Climb at BridgeClimb’s discretion without refund.
• Alcohol should not be consumed prior to the Climb. Every Climber will undergo a breath test and should a Climber have a Blood Alcohol Concentration reading of 0.05% or greater, then they will not be permitted to participate in a Climb.
• All Climbers must complete a declaration form and satisfy BridgeClimb’s terms and conditions.
• There are no refunds where the requirements are not met.
• All climbers must wear suitable enclosed rubber soled shoes such as runners, track or hiking shoes. PVC and leather soled shoes are unsuitable.
• One adult is required to Climb with every 3 children. Children must be at least 8 yrs of age and 1.2 metres tall to Climb.

Medical Conditions

• Climbers must take into account any medical condition that may impact on their ability to climb ladders and steep slopes safely. The Bridge Climb experience is moderately exerting, highly exhilarating and exposed to the weather.
• Under 24 weeks pregnant, or 75 yrs of age or older? You’ll need to complete a doctor’s Certificate of Fitness.
• Over 24 weeks pregnant? We’re sorry you can’t Climb for now!
