The Express Climb Time?

Day Climb »
This climb is available twice per day, starting between 10:00 – 11:00am in the morning and 2:00 – 3:00pm in the afternoon.

• Free entry to The Pylon Lookout*.

*The Pylon Lookout is one of the four brick columns at the start and finish of the bridge. Enjoy the museum and lookout with a free entry pass.

The Climb

Latching on at the Climb Base below the Bradfield Highway, you will walk on catwalks directly over Sydney Harbour, to the base of the Bridge’s lower arch on the Opera House side.

There you will climb to the peak of the lower arch. When you arrive at the upper arch, you will go up a staircase to the Summit.

After a Summit celebration with your group, you will cross to the Darling Harbour side to make your descent to our Climb Base.

This Climb is faster and has fewer stops than the Summit Climb.

Climb Conditions – Please Read

• All climbers are required to ‘check in’ at BridgeClimb premises 3 Cumberland Street, The Rocks at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Arrival after this time may result in non-admittance to the Climb at BridgeClimb’s discretion without refund.
• Alcohol should not be consumed prior to the Climb. Every Climber will undergo a breath test and should a Climber have a Blood Alcohol Concentration reading of 0.05% or greater, then they will not be permitted to participate in a Climb.
• All Climbers must complete a declaration form and satisfy BridgeClimb’s terms and conditions.
• There are no refunds where the requirements are not met.
• All climbers must wear suitable enclosed rubber soled shoes such as runners, track or hiking shoes. PVC and leather soled shoes are unsuitable.
• One adult is required to Climb with every 3 children. Children must be at least 8 yrs of age and 1.2 metres tall to Climb.

Medical Conditions

• Climbers must take into account any medical condition that may impact on their ability to climb ladders and steep slopes safely. The Bridge Climb experience is moderately exerting, highly exhilarating and exposed to the weather.
• Under 24 weeks pregnant, or 75 yrs of age or older? You’ll need to complete a doctor’s Certificate of Fitness.
• Over 24 weeks pregnant? We’re sorry you can’t Climb for now!
